The songs which were written in Masset
were recorded on a reel to reel tape recorder in three different locations: a house just before the intersection of Collinson
and Harrison a trailer on Delkatla and the old Indian Affairs house on Harrison

the garden of the house on Harrison is entitled IT'S ONE OF THOSE DARK NIGHTS This was arranged long after my time
in Masset by Miles Jackson of Ma-Me-O Beach http://www.ma-me-o.com/

A song inspired by the war experience of Alex Rutherford - a long time Masset
resident - and entitled MR MOON: I'M WORKING AGAINST TIME can be heard as a lyric video on you Tube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFe1NSXR8SM The song was arranged by Brian McNeill at CaVa Sound Glasgow www.cavasound.com

BALANCING THE REQUEST TO BE GOOD
and CUSTTAD
It was also through my experiences with the
children I knew in Masset and Old Massett that I began the work which was subsequently written about in the book Balancing
The Request To Be Good And following on from its publication came the development of Custtad an approach to supporting
children who are unsettled in a mainstream elementary school setting
For years I have held to
the idea of returning the gift but have not yet found a way to achieve this Information on Custtad is available at www.custtad.com There is also a link on the home page of this site
The book is available from Amazon To go there click on the cover image below

Many of the photographs taken during my time in Masset have been retained but only one painting
is still in existence This was painted using acrylic paint on hardboard and it is on the side of an outbuilding
in Tlell
